Disney’s “Gold Star”
All visitors to Disney World know that you are around Cast Members ALL THE TIME! Let’s face it some love it there like I did and some hate going to work every day. The ones who love their job are most often the ones who provide the best Disney service. For this Cast Member wouldn’t it be great if there was a way that you can let them know that you appreciated all of their kind words and all the help they offered? Well there is! You can simply go to Guest Relations and fill out at Great Service Fanatic card or a GSF. You can also alert a Manager or a Coordinator of the location to be sure that the Cast Member receives a GSF. These cards allow you as a guest to recognize Cast Members who go above and beyond! This is a great way to give feed back to the Walt Disney World Resort Company as well as it helps out that Cast Member you recognize. It helps out the Cast Member by acting as a “Gold Star” that will be put on their record card. This can also help the Cast Member in the future if he/she decides to change their work status to Full Time, Part Time or Seasonal. This action of recognizing these fine workers does not take long at all. So next time you on your way out of a park think to and see if there was a Cast Member that stuck out to you!
